Welcome to Occupational Therapy in Vietnam!

In rehabilitation, all specialized professions play important roles and equal to each other. “Occupational therapy is a client-centered health profession concerned with promoting health and well being through occupation. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. Occupational therapists achieve this outcome by working with people and communities to enhance their ability to engage in the occupations they want to, need to, or are expected to do, or by modifying the occupation or the environment to better support their occupational engagement” (WFOT 2012).

To create a space with aims at exchanging knowledge and experiences as well as researches on Occupational Therapy profession and a trustable resource for occupational therapists in Vietnam and worldwide, this website is developed under the 5 year project (2015-2020) of Occupational Therapy Education Development with by the support of the American People through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
